Inspiring Nando's employees to do the right thing
Nando’s was one of our very first clients. We pitched them some ideas for their infamous black card and things went from there.
We can’t discuss the existence of such a myth, but we can confirm that we were invited to work on a series of employee communication projects.
Corporate Responsibility isn’t just a tick box at Nando’s. It’s the way they work, and often changes the way things get done. They call it ‘Do the Right Thing’.
We were asked to communicated to their 10,000 employees how they can help their local communities.
The Nandocas (Nando’s employees) don’t have easy access to internet at the restaurants, so we decided to create a booklet that would be sent to every resultant.
The aim was to help them find inspiration and come up with their own ideas about how they can help. All the time whilst providing a framework to make sure rules and regulations were followed and that the activity was in line with Nando’s CSR policy and values.
We were also asked to design brand logo’s and assets for the launch of some new company wide employee initiatives.
We also designed labels for Nando’s limited edition honey. Made by bees on the rooftop of Nando's restaurant in East Putney. The honey was shortlisted for a prestigious Urban food award.
