HCP International are a well-established automotive recruitment agency with international ambitions. They needed a brand identity and digital presence that would set them apart from the market.

The Brand

We flipped the concept of what a specialist recruiter should look like, creating a brand that belongs within the automotive industry.

The competition all had websites and brand identities that offered very little to their customers. They all looked and felt similar, with little to differentiate themselves from each other.

We created a brand identity that not only fitted within the industry it recruits for, it builds on several of the concepts of high-end service, robust engineering and luxury craftsmanship.

The Website

We designed and built a stunning website to embody the new brand and attract clients and candidates.

We used striking full screen imagery to showcase the exciting world of the automotive industry.

The site was nominated for an aWWWard on launch and became an integral part of HCP’s marketing.

Email Marketing

Our email campaigns doubled the industry average for opens and clicks.

The Details

We overhauled the entire site, adding a job search, and profiles for all of their consultants, bringing their people to the fore.

Being multinational we also added multi-lingual capabilities for 5 languages. We also gave them the capability to add their own inbound marketing campaigns, which have been used to great success.

The Results

The new site delivered 6 placements in the first month, it had previously made none in three years.

Making a slow site fast and mobile friendly.

An insurance recruiter asked us to make their existing website work on mobile devices and make it easier to manage with a more intuitive content management system.

In a mobile-first world you need to be responsive and fast. If your website’s too slow and won’t work across different devices you’re dead in the water.

Working with their existing design, we were able to make the site fully mobile optimised and add our new content management system, even tweaking some of their user journeys to make the site perform better.

We took an astonishingly slow website from a 7 second load time straight into warp drive to an astonishing 800 milliseconds.

After recently re-designing the HFG website, we found that the existing platform was quite restrictive when it came to editing the content and making minor changes.
A simple job would mean having to deal with tricky HTML and seemingly straightforward changes could be quite time-consuming to amend.
As well as providing the current site with a ‘digital facelift’, the new site is responsive, easier to content manage and also has a new language setting enabling us to enhance the candidate and client experience with our stakeholders overseas.

Building a global reputation for finding hard-to-find talent.

Sports Traders are by nature a disparate bunch, who work alone or in tight-knit groups across different continents. Finding the most talented is a real challenge, our client asked us if we could help.

Within 3 months we achieved and maintained top 3 Google rankings for over 50 terms such as Sports Trading Jobs, and Sports trading, giving our client access to the best global sports trading talent.

We took the market apart, looking for something we could use for a position.

Our research drew a blank, showing a clear lack of organisations, websites, publications or groups, which we found unusual in today’s information rich world.

We saw this as an opportunity to become an early adopter, and take a share of an under-developed market.

We created on online publication and published expert & academic level content to professionalise the global network of sports traders.

The content was generated by the industry, giving talented traders a platform to showcase their knowledge.

Due to its overwhelming success in China the entire site was replicated in Mandarin.
